While many shows have been cancelled or postponed in the wake of the horrific mass shooting at the Route 91 Harvest Festival in Las Vegas Sunday night, Britney Spears announced via Twitter Thursday evening that she will return to her residency on Oct. 11 as planned.

“We’ll get through this together,” she tweeted. “See you Wednesday #VegasStrong.”

Dates for the “Britney Spears: Piece of Me” show continue at Planet Hollywood through October into November, and will conclude with a run of five performances in late December — the New Year’s Eve show will be the residency’s finale, the singer announced in April.

Spears and the venue have more than an average cause for caution in the wake of the shooting: In August, a man rushed onstage as she finished performing her 1999 hit, “(You Drive Me) Crazy.” when a fan rushed the stage to get her attention.

The incident, which several fans captured on their phones and posted on social media, shows Spears asking the crowd, “Are you guys having fun?” Upon quickly noticing the commotion going on behind her, she asked, visibly shaken, “Is something okay? What’s going on?”

Security guards blocked Spears and escorted her off stage, while her dancers and more security guards subdued the intruder. Fans chanted “a–hole” as the man was ushered out of the venue.

In the wake of the shooting, Jennifer Lopez postponed three dates of her residency in the city.
