Scotland Yard has received another complaint from a woman who alleges that Harvey Weinstein sexually assaulted her. The alleged incident occurred outside of Britain in 1991, and the complaint is being passed on to the relevant authorities, the Yard said Tuesday.
The allegation is being investigated as part of the police force’s Operation Kaguyak, which has already logged 11 alleged incidents and seven victims.
An eighth woman has now come forward with a complaint, the Metropolitan Police (Scotland Yard) said. “On 31 October an allegation was received that the man sexually assaulted a woman (Victim 8) outside the jurisdiction of the U.K. in 1991. The allegation will be passed to the local police force in due course,” police said.
Two of the previous 11 allegations relate to incidents that took place outside the U.K. The British police have not specified the locations. Weinstein has denied all allegations of assault and non-consensual sex. No one has been arrested in the London investigations.
