AFM: BCL Finance Group Backing Vietnam Drama ‘Last Full Measure’ (EXCLUSIVE)

BCL Finance Group has completed a deal to finance post-production and co-produce Vietnam drama “The Last Full Measure” with writer/director Todd Robinson and producer Mark Damon.

Damon’s Foresight Unlimited is handling sales at the American Film Market.

BCL Finance is a New York film finance fund headed by financiers Adi Cohen, Michael Bassick (“American Made”), and producer and financier Michael Laundon. Bassick and Cohen will serve as producers and Laundon will exec produce “The Last Full Measure,” which  completed shooting in Thailand in July and has begun post-production at London’s Twickenham Studios.

“The Last Full Measure” is the story of William Pitsenbarger, a U.S. Air Force medic who personally saved over 60 men before being killed in one of the bloodiest battles of the Vietnam War. As the battle waged on, and after the last helicopter left, he continued to save lives until his own was sacrificed.

Jeremy Irvine will play Pitsenbarger. The cast includes William Hurt, Sebastian Stan, Samuel L. Jackson, Peter Fonda, Amy Madigan, Christopher Plummer, John Savage, Bradley Whitford and Michael Imperioli.
