Hot on the heels of Pink’s Apple Music short film comes “On The Record: Flicker,” a look at former One Direction singer Niall Horan as he launches his solo career. The film, which consists of interviews and behind-the-scenes footage from recording sessions for his solo debut “Flicker” and acoustic tour rehearsals, will be available on Apple Music on the same day as the album’s release: Oct. 20.

To celebrate the release of his debut album and the accompanying short film, Apple Music and Horan will be hosting an intimate private screening for fans in Los Angeles, followed by a live performance from the singer, where he will premiere songs from the LP. This special event will take place Oct. 19, the day before the album’s release, and fans can get location and ticketing details at NiallOnTheRecordLive.com

Horan is the third One Direction alum to release a solo album, following Harry Styles’ self-titled debut in May and Zayn Malik’s “Mind of Mine,” which he released in March of last year (and will follow with a second album early next year). Horan previewed the album with a pair of singles, “This Town” and “Slow Hands,” both of which reached the top 20 of the Billboard Hot 100.
