NBC scored another Tuesday win thanks to the skills of “America’s Got Talent” and the Olympic swimming trials, with the Peacock doubling the combined demo scores of its nearest rivals, notching a 2.0 rating in adults 18-49 versus ABC and CBS’ 0.9 average for the night.

At 8 p.m., the Olympic trials earned a 1.3 demo score and 5.8 million viewers. The only original competition in the hour was Fox’s “Hotel Hell,” which was up a tick to a 0.9 and 3.1 million viewers.

At 9 p.m., “AGT” earned a 2.4 rating in adults 18-49 and 11 million viewers, easily outpacing ABC’s “Uncle Buck” (1.1 in the demo and 3.6 million viewers) and the Season 2 premiere of CBS’ “Zoo,” which was even with last season’s finale rating of 0.9, but up in total viewers with 5.1 million. Fox’s “Coupled” was steady with a 0.5 demo score and 1.5 million viewers, while CW’s “Containment” managed a 0.3 in adults 18-49 and 0.9 million viewers. At 10 p.m., ABC’s “To Tell the Truth” was even with last week’s 1.0 score and drew around 4 million viewers against the second hour of “America’s Got Talent.”
