Monday night belonged to “The Bachelorette,” with ABC’s dating show sneaking past NBC’s “American Ninja Warrior” for a win in both the adults 18-49 demographic (1.9 vs. “Ninja’s” 1.7) and total viewers (6.8 million versus 6.2 million) from 8-10 p.m. Fox’s “So You Think You Can Dance” earned a 0.7 rating and 2.9 million viewers in the same timeslot, while CBS and The CW aired repeats.

At 10 p.m., ABC’s “Mistresses” recovered from last week’s low with a 0.8 demo score and 3.1 million viewers, while CBS’ “BrainDead” was down a tick with a 0.4 rating and 3.2 million total viewers.

For the night, ABC and NBC tied for first in adults 18-49, both notching an average 1.5 in the ratings, while ABC eked out a narrow victory in total viewers, scoring 5.5 million vs. NBC’s 5.3 million. Fox earned a 0.7 rating overall and 2.9 million viewers, while CBS scored a 0.6 and 3.8 million viewers. The CW’s night of repeats earned a 0.2 rating and 1.1 million watchers.
