NBC remained dominant on Tuesday, August 30, thanks to the strong double-header of “America’s Got Talent” and freshman reality series “Better Late Than Never.”

“AGT” scored a 2.5 rating in the adults 18-49 demographic and 12 million viewers, up a tick from last week’s airing, while “Better Late” maintained its 1.6 premiere rating in the demo (the best this summer for a new series premiere on the broadcast networks) and grew in total viewers, garnering 7.5 million. Between the two, NBC averaged a 2.2 rating overall and 10.5 million viewers for the night.

ABC’s “Bachelor in Paradise” (1.4 rating, 5 million viewers) also held steady at 8 p.m., while after-show “After Paradise” improved two-tenths (0.9 rating, 3.5 million viewers). The Alphabet closed the night with comedy repeats, with the network averaging a 0.9 rating and 3.4 million viewers overall.

Fox aired a night of repeats, scoring an average rating of 0.4 and 1.5 million viewers overall, while The CW aired a repeat of “The Flash” followed by a new episode of “MADtv” at 9 p.m., which nabbed a 0.3 rating and 1.1 million viewers, in line with the network’s overall average for the night.
