TV talent agent Sean Grumman has joined WME, Variety has learned.
Grumman was formerly with CAA, and abruptly left the agency last week. He was at CAA for 15 years, as of last month. Insiders say his contract was up and he was being courted by many agencies, before landing at WME.
Many of Grumman’s clients are expected to follow him to WME, though the full roster swapping over is not announced yet, as CAA clients are repped by teams.
Among Grumman’s long list of TV clients are Milo Ventimiglia of fall breakout series “This Is Us,” Hayley Atwell of “Conviction” and “Marvel’s Agent Carter,” Ruth Wilson who won the Golden Globe for “The Affair,” Chris Wood who’s joining “Supergirl” this season, “Kingdom’s” Frank Grillo, “Rosewood’s” Jaina Lee Ortiz, “The Originals'” Claire Holt, “True Blood” alum Ryan Kwanten, “Agent Carter’s” James D’Arcy and Donald Sutherland.
