Samantha Graham to Oversee Publicity for ‘CBS This Morning’

TV’s morning wars have another soldier.

Samantha Graham, a veteran of the publicity ranks at Time Warner’s Turner, has been named executive director of communications at “CBS This Morning.”

Graham has worked at Turner Broadcasting  in public relations since 1995 on behalf of various Turner networks and digital initiatives. She led communications efforts in New York for prime time programs on TBS, TNT, TCM, and, most recently, served as the vice president of public relations for truTV.

She joins the CBS morning program as it continues to show ratings strength after being retooled in 2012 with a hard-news focus, though the show lags both NBC’s “Today” and ABC’s “Good Morning America” in viewership.

Graham has worked previously for the American Film Institute and The Museum of Modern Art. She attended the University of Colorado at Boulder.
