Ryan Reynolds, Conan O’Brien Make Out in ‘The Notebook 2’ Spoof (Watch)

Watch out, Blake Lively! Conan O’Brien may be after your husband.

Ryan Reynolds appeared on “Conan” Wednesday night, seemingly without any project to promote. After asking the audience to guess why he was there, the actor finally revealed the truth.

“Remember that vacation we took in Tijuana a few years ago?” Reynolds asked O’Brien. “We split that bottle of absinthe? Well, we fell in love, and I filmed it.” Watch the footage above (beginning at the 4:00 mark).

Although touted as a sequel to “The Notebook,” the hilarious video was almost an exact remake of the memorable kiss between Ryan Gosling and Rachel McAdams in the 2004 movie based on Nicholas Sparks’ bestseller.

O’Brien even wore a pearl necklace and a blue button-up dress. And the rain-soaked smooch was well … pretty torrid!

Gosling and McAdams dated after “The Notebook” but split, with Gosling eventually fathering two children with actress Eva Mendes.

The whole kiss didn’t sit well with Reynolds’ wife Lively, who posted this response on Instagram:

“The ways I know @vancityreynolds (Ryan’s Instagram handle) got himself into huge trouble on @teamcoco tonight. Not only did he come home with my true love, @levain_bakery cookies, but he personally toasted them for me and brought me a cup of milk WITH ICE. Literal brownie points.”

The actress ended her post with a quote from the 2004 movie, “If you’re a bird, I’m a bird.”

Who’s kiss was better — the original one or the Reynolds-O’Brien one? Tell us in the comments below.
