Nancy O’Dell Addresses Donald Trump, Billy Bush Tape on ‘Entertainment Tonight’ (Watch)

Nancy O’Dell is speaking up.

On Monday night’s broadcast of “Entertainment Tonight,” O’Dell will address the 2005 video of Donald Trump and Billy Bush in which she is spoken about in vulgar terms. The entertainment news show has released a piece of O’Dell’s message, which will appear on “ET” tonight, a few hours early — and Variety has it right here.

“There is no room for objectification of women, or anyone for that matter — not even in the locker room,” O’Dell says.

Variety was first to report yesterday that O’Dell would be hosting “ET” on Monday night.

Meanwhile, Bush was not on the “Today” show this morning, as he’s been suspended, pending review. On Tuesday’s broadcast of the NBC morning show, Carson Daly will fill in for Bush, though it’s unclear if he will co-anchor the 9 a.m. hour with Tamron Hall for more days afterword. Bush issued an apology Friday evening, following the swift social media firestorm that erupted after the video surfaced.

The Trump/Bush video featured the two men speaking in crass terms, making disparaging comments about women. O’Dell was later identified as one of the women Trump was speaking about, saying that he tried to have sex with her while she was married. At the time the video was taped in 2005, Bush was O’Dell’s co-host on “Access Hollywood.”

This weekend, O’Dell released a written statement via “ET Online.” The statement read: “Politics aside, I’m saddened that these comments still exist in our society at all. When I heard the comments yesterday, it was disappointing to hear such objectification of women. The conversation needs to change because no female, no person, should be the subject of such crass comments, whether or not cameras are rolling. Everyone deserves respect no matter the setting or gender.  As a woman who has worked very hard to establish her career, and as a mom, I feel I must speak out with the hope that as a society we will always strive to be better.”
