‘Suburgatory’ Star Cast in CBS Romantic Comedy Pilot ‘My Time/Your Time,’ Pamela Fryman to Direct

“Suburgatory” alum Jane Levy has been cast as one half of the starring couple in CBS’s romantic comedy pilot “My Time/Your Time,” Variety has learned. “How I Met Your Mother’s” Pamela Fryman has also boarded the pilot to direct.

“My Time/Your Time” chronicles the relationship of a young couple as they begin dating long distance.

Levy will play Marla, an inherent optimist living in New York City who wants to be a playwright but is having trouble breaking away from a traditional life for the life of an artist. Her on-screen significant other is yet to be cast.

Hailing from writer Hilary Winston and “How I Met Your Mother” creators Carter Bays and Craig Thomas, the potential series is based on the web series “7P/10E” by Avital Ash.

Bays, Thomas and Fryman will all serve as exec producers with Winston, resulting in a “HIMYM” reunion. The pilot is produced by CBS Television Studios in association with Sony Pictures Television.

Levy, who also starred in the 2013 pic “Evil Dead” and next will be seen alongside Rob Lowe in “Monster Trucks,” is repped by The Burstein Company, Gersh and attorney Robert Offer.
