Maddie Ziegler will join Nigel Lythgoe, Paula Abdul and Jason Derulo as a judge on “So You Think You Can Dance: The Next Generation,” which is the 13th season of Fox’s dance competition and will be the first to feature kid dancers. Ziegler is most known for the reality series “Dance Moms,” and for starring in Sia’s music videos.

Megan West has been cast in The CW’s Untitled Kevin Williamson Paranormal Pilot. West will star as Sarah Roberts, a young woman who seeks help from a parapsychologist and his team when she begins experiencing paranormal phenomena. West plays Lila, the dead sorority girl, on ABC’s “How to Get Away with Murder.”

“Star Wars” alum Billy Dee Williams has been cast in ABC’s musical event,Dirty Dancing.” Williams will play Tito, the charismatic ban leader for the 1960’s Catskill Mountain resort. He oversees and advises the resort’s musicians and entertainers and must adjust to the changing times.


“Schitt’s Creek” is returning for a third season. The renewal comes two weeks before the premiere of the second season. “The audience and critical reception we have received for “Schitt’s Creek” has been beyond expectations, and we are excited to reward our fans with 13 additional episodes in season three,” said Brad Schwartz, president of Pop. “In the upcoming season two, the character and the comedy reaches for bold new heights, and we can’t wait to see where this extraordinary cast and award-worthy performances goes next.”

A new 15-minute live-action series from sketch comedy troupe Million Dollar Extreme has been greenlit by Adult Swim. The series, “Million Dollar Extreme Presents: World Peace,” is described as a “super pure tragicomedy rosary of pious prayers bringing unity, joy, and excellent living to the people of all sizes, sexualities, and colors.” The troupe is made up of Sam Hyde, Nick Rochefort, and Charls Carrol.


Logo’s “Gay for Play” game show starring RuPaul premieres April 11.

Filmed in front of a live studio audience, contestants on the show will have their entertainment IQs put to the test. The players can either trust their own instincts or turn to the “Gay for Play” celebrity panel for help. Contestants will also pair up with a panelist for rapid fire trivia questions.

Starz and Saks Fifth Avenue have announced an exclusive partnership to showcase the period costume from the highly anticipated second season of the “Outlander.”

“Outlander”-curated windows will be on display from March 22 through April 11 at the Saks Fifth Avenue New York and Beverly Hills stores. Six window vignettes will capture the 18th century costumes in the New York flagship while two window vignettes will be used in the Beverly Hills store.

Health entertainment network Z Living is teaming up with Pop Sugar to air branded content from the online company targeted toward millennial woman, including a Pop Sugar series to air weekly during primetime, plus TV versions of the site’s existing online shows that will run during daytime.
