Eisner, who will report to Shannon Ryan, EVP of marketing and communications, will serve as a liaison between the network and the press on corporate matters, including ratings performance, senior executive initiatives and industry-wide developments.
Eisner was most recently VP of corporate communications for A+E Networks, where he was responsible for trade and business media relations for A+E Studios and Lifetime, as well as all program ratings press outreach on behalf of A+E Networks’ entire portfolio. He also managed the company’s awards campaigns, which resulted in the network’s recent Peabody Award for “UnREAL.” He’s been with A+E since 2009.
Prior to Lifetime, Eisner served as EVP at the Lippin Group, where he handled clients including Starz Entertainment and Starz Media, Mar Vista Entertainment, Granada America (now ITV America), Kodak Digital Cinema, the Independent Film & Television Alliance and the American Film Market.
He previously worked at 20th Television and MyNetworkTV.
