Kirstie Alley has been cast in “Scream Queens” Season 2 as a series regular, Variety has learned.

She joins the previously announced returning cast Jamie Lee Curtis, Emma Roberts, Lea Michele, Abigail Breslin, Keke Palmer, Billie Lourd, Glen Powell and Niecy Nash, plus new cast members John Stamos, Taylor Lautner and James Earl.

Alley will play a brilliant and devious administrator at the C.U.R.E. Institute where some of the most fascinating and bizarre medical cases are under observation.

Season 2 of “Scream Queens” is set at a hospital, run by Cathy Munsch (Curtis) who has moved on after abolishing the college Greek system and traveled the world in search of a new mission. The first season of the horror anthology series was set on sorority row.

“Scream Queens,” which hails from Ryan Murphy, Brad Falchuk and Ian Brennan, returns with its second season on Tuesday, Sept. 20 at 9 p.m.

Alley is repped by APA, Untitled and Meyer Felsen.
