‘Killjoys’ Sneak Peek: The Team Reunites to Save Old Town

The penultimate episode of “Killjoys” Season 2 is upon us, and the stakes couldn’t be higher leading into next week’s finale, with Johnny (Aaron Ashmore) and Pawter (Sarah Power) trapped behind the Company’s Wall in Old Town, where the inhabitants are being mind-controlled into blissful complacency and secretly poisoned in order to thin the herd.

Johnny has been keeping more than his fair share of secrets from Dutch (Hannah John-Kamen) and D’avin (Luke Macfarlane) in recent episodes, but it’ll take more than a few fibs to keep our intrepid bounty hunters from rescuing one of their own, and in Variety’s exclusive sneak peek, we find the team reunited and focused on their task of taking down the Wall and freeing Old Town for good.

And then there’s the matter of Dutch’s mysterious doppelganger, Aneela, who was revealed to be Khlyen’s daughter in last week’s installment. With two episodes remaining in the season, there are still plenty of answers yet to be revealed, which hints at a fittingly action-packed finale.

Tune in Friday, Aug. 26 at 9 p.m. on Syfy to see how our Killjoys plan to bring down the Wall in episode 209, “Johnny Be Good,” and hit the comments with your predictions for the finale.
