“Westworld” star Jimmi Simpson is having a busy fall season.
Simpson will guest star in an episode of NBC’s “This Is Us,” Variety has learned exclusively.
He will play Andy Fannan, a successful Wall Street trader who works with Randall (Sterling K. Brown). No airdate has been set yet for his upcoming episode.
Aside from HBO’s “Westworld,” Simpson has had prominent roles in AMC’s “Hap and Leonard” and “House of Cards” on Netflix. His other TV credits include “The Newsroom,” “Psych,” “It’s Always Sunny In Philadelphia” and “Person of Interest.” On the film side, he’s appeared in Tina Fey’s “Date Night,” “White House Down” and “Zodiac.”
“This Is Us” is the top new series this fall. Created by Dan Fogelman, the ensemble stars Milo Ventimiglia, Mandy Moore, Justin Hartley, Chrissy Metz, Susan Kelechi Watson, Chris Sullivan, Ron Cephas Jones and Brown.
