Last week’s episode of “How to Get Away with Murder” saw the return of Philip (Jefferson White) — or at least his threats — by way of a video sent to Connor (Jack Falahee), which features much of the Keating Five running through the woods the night at the Hapstall mansion.
This week, Philip is back with a vengeance, blackmailing the team for $1 million with the blood-stained video on the line.
Connor gets an email from the incestuous hacking pro, as seen in this exclusive clip (above) released by Variety, in which the law student is begging Annalise (Viola Davis) for her help.
“His email is ‘Argus.’ It’s from Greek mythology. Argus is a 100-eyed giant who sees everything, which means Philip has seen everything,” Connor says to Annalise, showing an email from Philip. “Isn’t that cute of him? He’s taunting us with nicknames,” Annalise responds.
With tensions running high between Annalise and her students, she turns the tables on Connor, questioning his involvement with the video. “Anything is possible with you people,” she says, getting a rise out of Connor who tells Annalise that the team needs her to step in — as always. “I’m sorry,” he utters. “Just, we need your help. Please.”
Besides the team panicking about Philip, the episode — which airs Thursday at 10 p.m. on ABC — features more on the storyline of Wes’s (Alfred Enoch) history, as Wes and Laurel (Karla Souza) start putting the pieces of Wes’ mother’s death together, but some things just don’t add up.
