Created and executive produced by Alex Hirsch, “Gravity Falls” is a highly serialized mystery thriller that weaves an apocalyptic conspiracy around the Pines siblings as they spend the summer with their great-uncle, Stan. In a rarity for a show targeted at a youth demographic, “Gravity” made the most of its animated format by peppering secret clues, codes and other so-called Easter eggs into episodes to keep fans hunting for hints into the larger mythology.
