‘Gilmore Girls’: First Look at Netflix Revival

Netflix has released first-look photos of its anticipated “Gilmore Girls” reboot to Entertainment Weekly.

The series of images preview the Gilmore mother-daughter duo of Lorelai (Lauren Graham) and an all-grown-up Rory (Alexis Bledel) as well as other series originals like Luke Danes (Scott Patterson), Gypsy (Rose Abdoo), Babette Dell (Sally Struthers) and Emily Gilmore (Kelly Bishop), who’s now a widow.

Though the first-glimpse photos divulge minimal plot details, an image of Luke and Lorelai hand-in-hand implies that the beloved couple will be “on again” for the series’ Netflix revival — or for part of it, anyway. There’s also an image of Rory in a classroom setting, suggesting that the once-aspiring journalist may have pursued a different career path.

Gilmore Girls” originals Milo Ventimiglia, David Sutcliffe, Jared Padalecki, Matt Czuchry (Logan), Liza Weil, Sean Gunn, Keiko Agena, Yanic Truesdale, Danny Strong and Vanessa Marano will also be reprising their roles. New additions to the cast will include Mae Whitman and “Younger” star Sutton Foster.

A premiere date for Netflix’s “Gilmore Girls” revival has yet to be announced. See all the photos below.
