Fox Sets Fall Premiere Dates for 2016-17 Season

Fox has set premiere dates for its fall lineup — including debuts for returning hit “Empire” and new series “Pitch,” “Lethal Weapon,” “Son of Zorn” and “The Exorcist.”

The first new episodes of the network’s season will air Monday, Sept. 19, with the premieres of “Gotham” season three at 8 p.m. and “Lucifer” season two at 9 p.m.

The fourth season of “Brooklyn Nine-Nine” debuts at 8 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 20, followed by the premieres of season six of “New Girl” at 8:30 p.m. and season two of “Scream Queens” at 9 p.m.

Lethal Weapon” will be the first new Fox show of the season to debut, premiering Wednesday, Sept. 21 at 8 p.m. The season three premiere of “Empire,” broadcast’s highest rated show for two seasons running, follows at 9 p.m.

On Thursday, Sept. 22, season two of drama “Rosewood” premieres at 8 p.m. Freshman drama will “Pitch” will debut that same night at 9 p.m.

Cooking competition series “Hell’s Kitchen” returns at 8 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 23. “The Exorcist” will then make its series premiere at 9 p.m. that night.

Fox’s Sunday comedy block returns Sept. 25, with “Bob’s Burgers” returning at 7:30 p.m., followed by debuts of “The Simpsons” at 8 p.m., new comedy “Son of Zorn” at 8:30 p.m., “Family Guy” at 9 p.m. and “The Last Man on Earth” at 9:30 p.m.
