Still no word on whether Donald Trump might be among Megyn Kelly’s interviews for her Fox primetime special “Megyn Kelly Presents,” but the network has moved up its air date to May 17. It was one of several late-spring premiere dates set by Fox on Friday.
There was some thought that Trump, the Republican presidential front-runner, might be among her guests, and that is still unclear. The network moved up the date of “Megyn Kelly Presents” from May 23 to May 17. It now will air from 8 to 9 p.m. against tough timeslot competition that includes NBC’s “The Voice” and the season finale of CBS’ “NCIS.”
As previously announced, May’s special is the first of a series of Fox network specials fronted by Kelly, host of Fox News Channel’s primetime hit “The Kelly File.” Roger Ailes, Chairman & CEO of Fox News, is the senior executive producer for Kelly’s specials, and Bill Geddie will exec-produce.
The Kelly special will be followed May 17 by the series premiere of Mark Burnett’s new dating series “Coupled.” Hosted by Terrence “J” Jenkins, the series gives the ladies first choice as they opt “yes” or “no” on each single man who arrives at their bungalows on the island of Anguilla. As couples match up based on their instant chemistry, they’ll jet off to another part of the island to put their relationship to the test.
The following week, season three of “Hotel Hell” kicks off the night at 8, leading into “Coupled.”
