Coinciding with season two of “Empire,” which premiered March 30 on Fox, the streetwear-influenced clothing and accessories brand Defend Paris launched a capsule clothing collection inspired by the acclaimed hip-hop drama series.

In commemoration of the beloved Lyon family’s set-in-stone values, the Empire x Defend Paris apparel collection’s focus is family, money and power — an inspiration that also resembles the clothing brand’s founding aesthetic. Though the series has lent its name to numerous other apparel collaborations, the participating brands have belonged to the luxury market (Saks Fifth Avenue, Hood by Air, Deborah Lippmann), thus limiting their affordability to “Empire” fans.

Boasting a $39 price tag, Empire x Defend Paris’ eight exclusive tees — which include graphics of Hakeem Lyon, Lucious and Cookie, and Becky — are widely accessible to the family dynasty drama’s expanding fanbase.

The Saks collaboration, which launched last fall, featured a curation of “Empire”-inspired looks for the department store’s website as well as for its New York and Beverly Hills flagship locations’ window displays. The campaign featured pieces from luxury labels such as Alexis Bittar, Cushnie et Ochs, Jimmy Choo and MCM.

“Empire’s” Hood By Air and Deborah Lippmann collections, which both contain products inspired by the Lyon family’s signature style, were also launched last fall.

“Empire” airs Wednesdays on Fox.
