The TV Academy has announced the first batch of stars set to present trophies during the Sept. 18 Emmy Awards ceremony telecast live on ABC.
Anthony Anderson, a nominee for the ABC comedy “Black-ish,” and “Quantico” star Priyanka Chopra are on the list. So is Larry David, CBS’ “Late Late Show” host James Corden, “Master of None” star and nominee Aziz Ansari and “Empire’s” Taraji P. Henson, also a nominee.
Kristen Bell, who will return to network TV the night after the Emmycast in NBC’s “The Good Place,” and Michael Weatherly, star of the new CBS drama “Bull,” will join the parade. Julie Bowen of ABC’s “Modern Family” and Randall Park of ABC’s “Fresh Off the Boat” are on board, along with Liev Schreiber, a nominee for Showtime’s “Ray Donovan,” and Andy Samberg, star of Fox’s “Brooklyn Nine-Nine” and a past Emmycast host.
Don Mischer is exec producer of the 68th annual Emmy Awards, which will be beamed out from the Microsoft Theater in downtown Los Angeles.
