The CW has finalized its summer schedule plans, setting the premiere dates for a trio of returning alternative series including “Penn & Teller: Fool Us” with new host Alyson Hannigan.

“Penn & Teller: Fool Us,” a one-hour competition series celebrating magic and featuring the legendary duo, kicks off its season on Monday, July 11, at 8. It will be followed by an hour of “Whose Line Is It Anyway,” which will air originals at 9 and encores at 9:30. “Whose Line,” hosted by Aisha Tyler and featuring cast members Ryan Stiles, Wayne Brady and Colin Mochrie, returns May 23.

The third cycle of “Masters of Illusion” premieres with back-to-back new episodes on Friday, May 20, followed by the season finale of “The Originals.”

As previously announced on the scripted front, “Reign” returns with new episodes on Monday, April 25, concluding its season on June 20. The final season of “Beauty and the Beast” debuts Thursday, June 2. And the new limited series “Containment,” which premieres April 19, will continue its 13-episode run through the summer.
