Comedy Central has canceled “Not Safe With Nikki Glaser” after one season, Variety has confirmed. The sex-themed talk show aired the last of its 20 episodes in August.

The cable channel is said to be pursuing other opportunities to work with Glaser.

Glaser was named one of Variety‘s 10 Comics to Watch in 2015. Her half-hour Comedy Central series explored sex through field-reported segments and a panel discussion. In March, Comedy Central announced that it would extend the show’s first season from 10 episodes to 20.

Prior to her Comedy Central series, Glaser starred on MTV’s “Nikki & Sara Live” with fellow comedian Sara Schaefer. Glaser has an upcoming standup special slated to air on Comedy Central.

“It’s like this golden era for female comedians,” Glaser told Variety last year. “This is what people want and we’re delivering.” Describing her then-upcoming show, she said, “It’ll be a mix of real people, comedians and experts talking about sex in a normal way.”

Glaser executive produced “Not Safe” with  Chris Convy, Chris McGuire, Alex Murray and Brad Petrigala.
