“The Good Wife” alum Archie Panjabi will put her investigative skills to good use on “Blindspot” in Season 2, Variety has learned.
Panjabi has been cast in a major recurring role in the mystery thriller’s sophomore season, playing the head of a secret division of the NSA that has been tracking the Jane Doe case from afar.
Since her “Good Wife” exit, the British thesp has been working steadily in the UK, with roles on crime dramas “The Fall” and “Shetland,” and political comedy “Power Monkeys,” in addition to a big screen turn in Dwayne Johnson’s “San Andreas.”
“Blindspot” Season 2 premieres Wednesday, September 14 at 10 p.m. on NBC, following the finale of “America’s Got Talent.” In its new Wednesday timeslot, it’ll lead the night ahead of “Law & Order: SVU” and “Chicago P.D.” Check out all of NBC’s fall premiere dates here.
