The April 6 episode of “Arrow” is being touted as “the end of an era” in its promos, as we’ll finally discover who ends up in the grave we saw at the beginning of Season 4, teased in an ominous flash-forward that’s been plaguing us all season long.
But before someone calls time of death at “Eleven-Fifty-Nine,” there’s plenty more going on in Episode 18, as fractures begin to show in Team Arrow. Oliver (Stephen Amell) is suspicious of Andy Diggle (Eugene Byrd), given his former position in HIVE, which puts him at odds with Andy’s brother John (David Ramsey). And Malcolm Merlyn’s (John Barrowman) new alliance with Damien Darhk (Neal McDonough) means he’s headed for a showdown with daughter Thea (Willa Holland). Felicity (Emily Bett Rickards) has left the team, seemingly for good, and in Variety‘s exclusive sneak peek below, we’ll see Laurel (Katie Cassidy) receive a surprising offer that makes her consider her own position as a crime-fighter.
Team Arrow might be struggling on Earth-1, but executive producer Marc Guggenheim recently revealed that we’ll get a look at what one team member is up to on Earth-2, courtesy of “The Flash.” Earlier this week, Guggenheim told reporters that Cassidy will be playing the Earth-2 version of Laurel Lance, where she’s known as Black Siren instead of Black Canary. “Flash” executive producer Andrew Kreisberg previously previewed the appearance without revealing Cassidy’s name during a press conference following “The Flash” and “Supergirl” crossover episode, teasing, “We have a really exciting, fun doppelganger coming up in the penultimate episode of ‘The Flash’ that we haven’t announced yet. That will be really cool.”
