ABC has ordered additional episodes of comedies “American Housewife” and “The Real O’Neals,” Variety has confirmed.

Freshman “American Housewife,” from ABC Studios and Aaron Kaplan’s Kapital Entertainment, has received an order for an additional nine episodes, bringing its season to a full 22. Sophomore “The Real O’Neals,” also hailing from ABC Studios, has received an additional three episodes, bringing its order to 16.

Both comedies air on Tuesday nights for ABC, “American Housewife” at 8:30 p.m. and “The Real O’Neals” at 9:30 p.m. The Oct. 18 episode of “American Housewife” drew a 2.5 rating among adults 18-49 in Nielsen live-plus-seven numbers. The same night’s “The Real O’Neals” drew a 1.3.

“American Housewife” is created by Sarah Dunn and is executive produced by Dunn, Kaplan, Rick Weiner, and Kenny Schwartz. “The Real O’Neals” is executive produced by Casey Johnson, David Windsor, Stacy Traub, Dan Savage, Brian Pines, Lorenzo di Bonaventura, Dan McDermott and Todd Holland.
