Disney Channel Announces Premiere Dates, Guest Stars for ‘Bizaardvark’ & ‘Adventures in Babysitting’

Disney Channel’s TV movie remake of “Adventures in Babysitting” and the upcoming show “Bizaardvark” will both premiere on the same day this summer, the cable network announced on Tuesday.

Social media sensations Logan Paul and Meredith Foster, “Austin & Ally” alum Calum Worthy, plus Jiffpom, are all set to guest star on “Bizaardvark,” Variety has learned. (See below for exclusive photos.)

“Adventures in Babysitting” will premiere June 24 at 8 p.m., giving “Bizaardvark” a nice lead-in, as the series debuts immediately after the TV movie at 9:45 p.m.

Ahead of the June 24 debut, “Adventures in Babysitting” will be available to verified users on the Disney Channel app and via VOD on week in advance on June 17. On June 3, the first 10 minutes of the movie will be available on the Disney Channel and Freeform apps, plus on Disney Channel’s Facebook and YouTube channel.

“Babysitting” marks the 100th Disney Channel Original Movie, and will be preceded by a major movie marathon in the days ahead. (More on that programming event here.) Inspired by the 1980’s film, the new version is a re-imagined tale stars Sabrina Carpenter (“Girl Meets World”) and Sofia Carson (“Descendants”).

Premiering the same night as “Babysitting” is Disney Channel’s newest series “Bizaardvark,” which revolves around two 13-year-old best friends, Paige and Frankie (played by Olivia Rodrigo and Madison Hu) who write funny songs and create music videos for their online channel, titled Bizaardvark, with dreams of becoming online stars. Vine star Jake Paul, Ethan Wacker and DeVore Ledridge also star in the series.

“Bizaardvark” has lined up a roster of fan-favorite guest stars, and will stage a moment with the Paul brothers. (Jake stars on the show and Logan will guest star — meanwhile, Logan has had a recurring role on Freeform’s “Stitchers,” which is also owned by Disney.)
