Twentieth Century Fox Television” has finalized its upfront sales, landing 12 new broadcast series orders for the upcoming 2016-17 season. The studio will also have 16 returning shows for the season.

For the development season, 20th Century Fox Television has converted 71% of its pilots to series orders. Its 12 series orders represents a 9% increase over last year. Together with returning series, the studio has experienced a 27% increase in production over last season.

The current development season was the second since the reorganization of Fox’s studio and broadcast-network operations under Fox Television Group Chairmen and CEOs Gary Newman and Dana Walden in 2014.

New series orders from the studio include “24: Legacy” (Fox), “APB” (Fox), “The Exorcist” (Fox), “Making History” (Fox), “The Mick” (Fox), “Pitch” (Fox), “Prison Break” (Fox), “Shots Fired” (Fox), “Son of Zorn” (Fox), “Speechless” (ABC), “Star” (Fox), and “This is Us” (NBC).

Returning series are “Bob’s Burgers” (Fox), “Bones” (Fox), “The Carmichael Show” (NBC), “Empire” (Fox), “Family Guy” (Fox), “Fresh Off the Boat” (ABC), “Last Man on Earth” (Fox), “Last Man Standing” (ABC), “Life in Pieces” (CBS), “Modern Family” (ABC), “New Girl” (Fox), “Rosewood” (Fox), “Scream Queens” (Fox), “The Simpsons” (Fox), “Sleepy Hollow” (Fox), and “Wayward Pines” (Fox).
