Ivan Nash Vila has been named chief financial officer at TV production and distribution giant Endemol Shine Group, whose shows include non-scripted hits like “Masterchef,” “Big Brother” and “Deal or No Deal,” and dramas like “Humans,” “Peaky Blinders,” “Black Mirror,” “The Fall” and “Broadchurch.”
Nash Vila is CFO of Central Europe at John Malone’s global cable outfit Liberty Global, overseeing financial operations and strategy in Austria, Switzerland, and five countries in Central and Eastern Europe.
As CFO of Endemol Shine, Nash Vila will be responsible for leading all the company’s finance operations including controlling, accounting, tax and treasury, as well as IT and internal controls. He will take up his new role this autumn, and will be based at the company’s headquarters in Amsterdam, reporting to Sophie Turner Laing, CEO of Endemol Shine.

Nash Vila was appointed CFO of Central Europe at Liberty Global in 2011, and since then he has restructured and integrated the Swiss and Austrian operations, expanded finance processes to CEE, and the developed new business in areas including mobile, content and other platforms.
Ivan joined Liberty Global in 2005 when the company acquired Cablecom, Switzerland’s largest cable operator, where he was head of corporate finance and investor relations. He went on to hold numerous other senior management positions at Liberty Global including director of M&A, overseeing multiple transactions such as the acquisitions of Unitymedia and KBW in Germany. He also served as the company’s head of financial planning and head of investor relations, Europe.
Nash Vila’s other previous roles have included positions at Telefonica subsidiary 3G Mobile, and Compaq.
