Asian channels operator Celestial Tiger Entertainment is to move further into the original production business with structured reality show ‘The Ultimate BROcation.” The show will be produced by Endemol Shine and be sponsored by the Hong Kong Tourism Board.

The five-episode series will follow the adventures of four celebrities from four different Southeast Asian countries as they revel in a five-day, all-expenses paid vacation, tailor-made for ‘bros’ Action includes parties, adventures, top food, beautiful ladies, and male-bonding. The only catch is that the guys have to let it all be filmed.

Casting is currently underway in Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand and Hong Kong, for well-known male celebrities who have appetite for adventure. Production will take place in Hong Kong in October. The show will debut exclusively on CTE’s action and adventure channel KIX channel.

“(In addition to showcasing the city as the ultimate guy’s playground) the show will reveal the celebrities’ personalities and humor and the bonds they build during this epic vacation,” said Andy Chang, senior VP of advertising sales, marketing and original productions, at Celestial Tiger.

“The Ultimate BROcation is an aspirational new reality format,” said Fotini Paraskakis, MD of Asian operations at Endemol Shine Group.

CTE, which operates a bouquet of channels including Celestial Movies CHK, Miao Mi, Kix and Thrill, launched its first original production in March this year with the greenlight for show “R U Tough Enough.”
