In this week’s edition of the Variety Movie Commercial Tracker, powered by iSpot.tv, Marvel claims the top spot in TV ad spending with “Doctor Strange.”

Ads placed for the superhero movie had an estimated media value of $6.66 million through Sunday for 731 national ad airings across 33 networks. Behind it in second place: Columbia Pictures’ “Inferno,” which saw 1,359 national ad airings across 39 networks, with an estimated media value of $6.6 million.

TV ad placements for DreamWorks Animation’s “Trolls” (EMV: $6.47 million), Warner Bros.’ “Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them” ($6.22 million) and Lionsgate’s “Hacksaw Ridge” ($5.6 million) round out the chart.
