Bleed For This” director Ben Younger has boarded motorcycle road race movie “Isle of Man,” which he will producer and direct from his own script.

Bold Films announced Monday that it has committed to financing the movie, which it is producing with Michael De Luca’s De Luca Productions. Production will start in March.

The deal was announced at the Toronto International Film Festival, following the premiere of boxing drama “Bleed For This,” starring Miles Teller.

“I’m thrilled to be partnering with Bold Films on what is an absolute passion project,” said Younger. “The Tourist Trophy is the last, great, dangerous race on earth and I am excited by the idea of bringing this new world to a general audience. Over 200 racers have lost their lives on this Island. I want to do their stories justice.”

Producers are Michel Litvak, Gary Michael Walters and Michael De Luca (“Fifty Shades of Grey”). Johnny Pariseau will oversee the project for De Luca Productions and Jon Oakes will oversee the project for Bold Films.

“Ben Younger is a brilliant, young director and I’m thrilled to support the next phase of his career,” said Litvak.

Younger and De Luca are both represented by CAA, which brokered the deal at the Toronto Film Festival. Younger’s lawyer is Julian Zajfran from Ziffren. The news was first reported by the Wrap.
