Miles Teller to Voice Lead Role in Animated Movie ‘The Ark and the Aardvark’

Miles Teller has been cast as aardvark Gilbert, the voice star for Unified Pictures’ upcoming animated film “The Ark and the Aardvark.”

The movie tells the story of Noah’s Ark from the perspective of the animals, specifically a group of misfits lead by Teller’s Gilbert.

“Ark,” directed by John Stevenson (“Kung Fu Panda”), is currently in production. Unified’s Keith Kjarval and Kurt Rauer produce. The executive producers are Cecil Kramer, Ben Ruffman, and Steve Goldstein of Unified, Wayne Godfrey and Robert Jones of The Fyzz, and Kitt Watson of Watson Enterprises.

“Gilbert is young, spirited, sarcastic, and we couldn’t have found a more perfect artist to bring Gilbert to life in Miles,” Stevenson said. “His humorously rebellious and clever repartee are both spot on and wonderfully entertaining, and I cannot wait to tell this story with him.”

Teller will voice the reluctant leader of a ragtag group of animals that need to be led to the mighty ark before the impending flood.

Teller’s credits include “Whiplash,” “War Dogs,” “Spectacular Now,” and “The Divergent Series.” He will be seen next in the boxing drama “Bleed for This,” and recently wrapped “Thank You for Your Service” and “Granite Mountain.”

Teller is represented by CAA, and Sone, Genow, Semlkinson, Binder & Christopher. Kjarval completed the deal for Unified. Elsa Ramo handled legal for Unified, while Erika Hallbourg handled legal for CAA/Teller.
