“The Great Gatsby” actress Elizabeth Debicki is in negotiations to join David Oyelowo and Gugu Mbatha-Raw in Paramount’s sci-fi pic “God Particle.”

John Krasinski was also in talks, but the status of his casting is currently unclear. J.J. Abrams is producing the film though his Bad Robot banner with Julius Onah directing.

Originally set up at Paramount InSurge before its shuttering, the long-in-development movie takes place in the near future. It centers on a team of astronauts who make a terrifying discovery that challenges everything they know about the fabric of reality, as they desperately fight for survival.

Debicki would play one of the astronauts.

The film will hit theaters on Feb. 24, 2017, with production scheduled to start sometime in the next few months.

Debicki is coming off the AMC miniseries “The Night Manager,” which also stars Tom Hiddleston and Hugh Laurie. She recently appeared in “The Man From U.N.C.L.E.” with Henry Cavill, and the disaster drama “Everest.”

Debicki, who’s repped by CAA and United Management, is currently filming “Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2.”
