Harvey Weinstein will be honored at amfAR’s annual Fashion Week New York Gala, Variety has learned exclusively.

amfAR, the Foundation for AIDS Research, will honor the Academy Award-winning film producer for his contributions to the struggle against HIV/AIDS. Fashion Week is kicked off by the New York Gala, which includes a dinner and live auction as well as the presentation honoring Weinstein. Harry Winston will serve as presenting sponsor.

Previous honorees included Bill Clinton, Elizabeth Taylor, Roberto Cavalli, Kenneth Cole, Robin Williams, Whoopi Goldberg, Tom Hanks, Heidi Klum, Liza Minnelli, Rosie O’Donnell and more. Chairs at the event include Harry Belafonte, Steve Buscemi, Andy Cohen, Bradley Cooper, Robert De Niro, Patrick Demarchelier, John Demsey, Morgan Freeman, Richard Gere, Nayla Hayek, Harvey Keitel, David and Lauren Bush, Terry Lundren, Matthew McConaughey, Dame Helen Mirren, Kerry Washington, Michelle Williams, Mathilde Krim, Ph.D, with Bill Clinton and Hilary Clinton as honorary chairs.

The New York Gala is held Feb. 10 at Cipriani Wall Street.
