Callum Turner is in negotiations to star in Marc Webb’s next untitled pic, which is set up at Amazon Productions.

He takes the place of Miles Teller, who recently dropped out of the role due to scheduling conflicts.

The film was originally titled “The Only Living Boy in New York” and also has Jeff Bridges in final negotiations to star. Amazon could not be reached for comment.

Allan Loeb penned the script, which tells the tale of a young man who learns that his overbearing father is having an affair. The son tries to stop it, but ends up becoming involved with the woman as well.

Amazon Pictures is currently on board to finance and distribute the movie.

Albert Berger & Ron Yerxa are producing. John Fogel will exec produce. The film, while having been on Webb’s radar for some time, was put on hold while financing was worked out and while Webb finished production of his Fox Searchlight drama “Gifted” starring Chris Evans.

Turner had a breakout role in A24’s “Green Room,” and can next be seen as the lead in Adam Leon’s “Tramps,” which bows at the Toronto Film Festival. He can also be seen opposite Michael Fassbender in New Regency’s “Assassin’s Creed.”

He is repped by WME and Curtis Brown Group.
