‘Fast & Furious 8’: First Look at Charlize Theron’s Villain

Fans got a first look at Charlize Theron’s new character in the latest installment of the “Fast and Furious” franchise, “Fast 8,” on Friday morning.

Theron, who will portray “Fast 8’s” main baddie, can be seen walking into a room with guns, flaunting a ponytail, Metallica T-shirt and a jacket. The photo was shared on the “Fast & Furious” official Twitter account. “Our crew has faced former military, mercenaries & more. Now, they meet Cipher,” the caption read.

The “Huntsman: Winter War” star was confirmed in April to join the franchise after script delays for a new Sony film, “The Grey Man,” caused her schedule to open up.

The new installment, which will bring back stars Vin Diesel, Dwayne Johnson, Tyrese Gibson and Michelle Rodriguez, is set for an April 14, 2017, theatrical release. F. Gary Gray is set to helm “Fast 8” and Diesel is on board to produce alongside Neal Moritz.
