Online ticket seller Fandango is teaming with Facebook for selling movie tickets, starting next week.

Users will be able to access Fandango ticketing either through ads or directly on the movie’s Facebook page.

The new ticketing service will begin rolling out on the Facebook pages of the remake of ‘The Magnificent Seven,”’ starring Denzel Washington and Chris Pratt, released by Sony and MGM; the comedy concert film, “Kevin Hart: What Now?’” and Warner Animation Group’s animated comedy  “Storks.”

The service will see a wider rollout  on Facebook in the near future.

“We are thrilled to introduce Fandango ticketing on Facebook,” said Fandango President Paul Yanover.  “Not only is this a huge convenience for the millions of movie fans who are discovering and sharing their love of movies on Facebook, it is also a big win for studios and exhibitors, who are looking to activate moviegoers’ interests into ticket purchases.”

There are currently 680 million people are connected to a Movies Page on Facebook.

Fandango is a unit of NBCUniversal and offers ticketing to more than 27,000 screens. Its portfolio reaches more than 63 million unique visitors per month, according to comScore, with over 100 million app downloads.
