Dave Annable has joined the cast of the WWE action pic “Temple.”
Wesley Snipes and Anne Heche are also on board with John Stockwell directing the movie.
The story follows a team of highly trained operatives who find themselves trapped inside an isolated military compound after its A.I. is shut down. The crew begins to experience strange and horrific phenomena as they attempt to uncover what killed the previous team.
Snipes is producing with Gene Simmons and WWE Studios president Michael Luisi and Voltage is handling the international sales. Matt Savelloni penned the script.
Bradley Buchanan handled negotiations on behalf of WWE Studios.
Annable is currently starring in NBC’s new medical drama “Heartbeat.” Prior credits include Fox’s “Red Band Society” and “Brothers & Sisters.” He is repped by UTA and manager Sue Leibman at Barking Dog Entertainment.
Snipes was most recently seen in the NBC drama “The Player.” He was also in Spike Lee’s “Chi-Raq” and “The Expendables 3.” He is repped by APA.
