Alan Ritchson Joins Brenton Thwaites in Zombie Actioner ‘Office Uprising’

Alan Ritchson has joined Brenton Thwaites in the zombie action movie “Office Uprising,” as which has started filming in Alabama.

Ritchson’s credits include “The Hunger Games: Catching Fire” as the Gloss character and Raphael in the two recent “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles” movies.

Lin Oeding is directing from a script written by Ian Shorr and Peter Gamble. The film is produced by Giulia Prenna (“The Evil Gene”) Jim Steele, Sean Lydiard and William Clevinger.

“Office Uprising” is set inside one of the world’s leading arms manufacturers where a substance is slipped into the employees’ drinks by the board of directors that supposedly makes them work more efficiently. Due to a slacker within the company, though, they are fed the wrong formula and start turning into homicidal maniacs — leaving the slacker needing to step up his game to rescue himself and his friends from the growing zombie plague inside the company compound.

Brenton Thwaites, Stephanie Pinola, and Chris Conover are executive producing and Dan Spilo is co-executive producing. The Exchange began selling international rights in February at the Berlin Film Festival.

Alan Ritchson paired with Brenton Thwaites, Jane Levy, Zachary Levi and Ian Harding, helps to make this already attractive cast, even more appealing to a global audience,” said Brian O’Shea from The Exchange.

Oeding, a stunts veteran with credits on “Straight Outta Compton” and “Ant-Man,” came on to the project in late October.

    Film Review: 'Annabelle Comes Home'
