UPDATED: “Transformers: Age of Extinction” star Nicola Peltz has declined a role in the romance drama “A Moment to Remember” after being in talks to costar in the film alongside “The 5th Wave” actor Alex Roe.
Peltz dropped out on Wednesday morning, right after an announcement was made, sources tell Variety. Roe is still attached to the film.
The Exchange will be selling international rights to the film at the Berlin Film Festival and work with the producers on a domestic sale.
Roe portrays a husband whose wife is stricken with a disease that wipes away her memory. He then desperately tries to give her one last reminder of their love before it’s too late.
“The Sessions” helmer Ben Lewin is directing from a script by Susannah Grant, whose credits include “Erin Brockovich,” “Pocahontas” and “The 5th Wave.” Producers are Mark Amin (“Frida”), Cami Winikoff (“The Prince and Me”) and Scott Lambert (“Paranoia”).
