‘O.J.: Made in America,’ ‘13th’ Top First Annual Critics’ Choice Documentary Awards

“O.J.: Made in America” won four prizes at the first annual Critics’ Choice Documentary Awards on Thursday night. Ezra Edelman’s film walked away with honors for best documentary and best director (theatrical feature), best sports documentary, and best limited documentary series.

Ava DuVernay’s “13th” won best documentary and best director in the TV/streaming categories, as well as best political documentary.

Nominees were announced last month. Full list of winners below.
