YOUR MAMA’S NOTES: An anonymous but eagle-eyed informant got in touch to let us know that entertainment industry veteran Suzanne de Passe has her long-time home on a remarkably celeb-lined street in the Beverly Hills Post Office area up for sale at $5.5 million. Miz de Passe, whose official bio says she’s “directly responsible for over $2 billion in entertainment revenue,” has owned the property since at least the late 1990s and public records and other online databases we peeped show the property has been pulled from the gaping maw of foreclosure at least several times since 2007.

Miz de Passe, currently the co-chairman of de Passe Jones Entertainment Group who can boast a couple of Emmys, an Oscar nomination, and three prestigious Peabody Awards, started out low on the totem pole at Berry Gordy’s Motown before she went on to discover and/or promote a number of big name musical acts including the Four Seasons, Lionel Richie and The Commodores, and The Jackson Five. In the late 1980s she produced the Golden-Globe winning “Lonesome Dove” mini-series; In 1990s she produced a slew of award-winning music-oriented specials as well as the sitcom “Sister, Sister”; And from 2002 through 2008 she was an executive producer of the legendary variety program “Showtime at the Apollo.”

Current online marketing materials don’t include any photographs of the house or grounds but do suggest the red-tile roofed Mediterranean-style residence is a bit down on her heels and “could use refreshing.” What does appears on listing details is that the “sprawling residence” measures in at 6,220-square-feet with formal living and dining rooms, a “huge eat-in gourmet kitchen,” and a fitness room. There are five bedrooms and six bathrooms including a “huge master suite.” A substantial addition, designed by architect/designer Budd Holden according to listing details, could be used for guests, staff and/or as home office space and the gated grounds incorporate generous off-street parking, several terraces for lounging and dining, and a swimming pool and spa.

Miz de Passe’s property sits on just over half of an acre along a winding, private and gated street high above Beverly Hills that has long attracted a who’s who of the entertainment industry. Demi Moore’s stylish contemporary spread, photographed nearly a decade ago for Architectural Digest, sits just across the street from a 3.5-acre estate that Frank Mancuso, Jr., whose producing credits include several installments of the “Friday the 13th” franchise, put up for sale last year at $24 million before it was re-priced to its current $22.995 million. In early 2015 beau-hunky movie star Channing Tatum (“Foxcatcher,” “Magic Mike”) dropped $6 million on a property previously owned by über-agent Kevin Huvane and, before him, Carrie Fisher, and our research reveals other homeowners on the street include British boy-bander Harry Styles, Oscar-winning actor Jon Voight, comedian and former “Saturday Night Live” cast member Jon Lovitz, and West Hollywood restaurateurs Ken Todd and Lisa Vanderpump whose glitzy, zoo-like spread, dubbed Villa Rosa, is regularly and prominently featured on “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.”
