Kylie Jenner Upgrades to Hidden Hills Mansion

BUYER: Kylie Jenner
LOCATION: Hidden Hills, CA
PRICE: $6,025,000
SIZE: 7,040 square feet, 6 bedrooms, 6.5 bathrooms

YOUR MAMA’S NOTES: Quick on the heels of titillating if scandalous tabloid rumors that there just might be x-rated video footage of her and her 26-year-old rapper ex-boyfriend Tyga floating around comes word that 18-year-old model and social media powerhouse Kylie Jenner — she has 61.3 million Instagram followers, in case any of y’all think nobody cares about this Kardashian family whippersnapper — upgraded from the 4,851-square-foot mock-Med house in a guard-gated Calabasas, Calif., development she snapped up last year for $2.6 million to a substantially larger 7,040-square-foot spread in the guard-gated and Kardashian-packed Hidden Hills enclave that was purchased earlier this month, per property records, for $6,025,000. The brand new and undeniably luxurious family-sized six-bedroom mansion, rather ambitiously described in listing details as Cape Cod in style, sits at the tail end of a decadently long shared drive on a 3.15-acre parcel that abuts undeveloped open space.

As do many if not most of the recently built mansions in Hidden Hills, young Miss Jenner’s opens to a grand and unnecessarily cavernous double-height foyer that inexplicably and utterly bizarrely prominently features a glass-fronted walk-in wine cellar wedged under the staircase so that everyone who walks through the front door is obliged to ogle and comment on the homeowner’s wine collection. Of course, the teenage reality TV veteran is still several years from being able to purchase or imbibe liquor legally so we imagine that climate-controlled booze closet will be filled with soda pop and energy drinks, right? Open plan living spaces have wide-plank wood floors and thick ceiling moldings and incorporate adjoining formal living and dining rooms, plus a neighboring family room with a fireplace that’s open to an expensively appointed kitchen decked out with two huge islands, slab marble counter tops and marble tile back splashes and, unsurprisingly, a costly truckload of commercial-style stainless steel appliances.

Listing details show the rambling, mostly one-story residence’s six en suite bedrooms and 6.5 bathrooms include a roomy main floor master suite with fireplace, marble-lined bathroom with steam shower, a couple of spacious walk-in closets, and a private arbor-shaded terrace with pastoral views of rolling hills. A loggia along the rear of the house has a built-in barbecue and under-counter beverage cooler and overlooks broad, water-guzzling lawns and a solar-heated swimming pool and spa. A convenient pool bath with exterior entry means Miss Jenner nor any of her pals need drop water through the house when it’s time to use the facilities during pool parties. A few of the extra-special creature comforts called out in marketing materials include a “future elevator location,” four-car garage with glossy epoxy floors, electric car charging station, pre-wiring for a comprehensive sound system, and room for a barn and/or guesthouse.

Along with her formidable mother and manager Kris Jenner, some of Miss Jenner’s other high-profile neighbors in Hidden Hills include older half-sister Kim and her rant-prone husband Kanye West, Miley Cyrus, Jessica Simpson, Drake and Jennifer Lopez, whose 17,000-square-foot pile is currently listed at $12.5 million after it first came to market at $17 million.
