Gwen Stefani and Gavin Rossdale Officially Pocket List Celeb-Pedigreed Beverly Hills Estate (EXCLUSIVE)

SELLERS: Gwen Stefani and Gavin Rossdale
LOCATION: Beverly Hills (Post Office), CA
PRICE: $35,000,000
SIZE: 11,845 square feet, 7 bedrooms, 10 bathrooms plus guesthouse

YOUR MAMA’S NOTES: Given their “hellish” and “insane” divorce was finalized in April (2016), it’s no surprise fashion-forward pop-star Gwen Stefani and Bush singer Gavin Rossdale’s former marital home in the Beverly Hills Post Office area has come available outside the Multiple Listing Service with an official asking price of $35,000,000. Mister Rossdale and Miz Stefani purchased the gated estate in the guard-gated Summit development that runs along a mountaintop ridge between Beverly Hills and Studio City in August 2006 for $13.25 million. The seller was hospitality entrepreneur Sam Nazarian who bought the property in October 2004 for $10,950,000 from Jennifer Lopez who had, in turn, acquired it in early 2000 for $4,297,500. Online marketing materials and other online resources indicate the contemporary sprawler, worked over six-nine ways from Sunday in a boldly graphic and colorful manner by maximalist decorator Kelly Wearstler, measures in at 11,845-square-feet with six en suite guest/family bedrooms and a master suite with two lavishly bedazzled bathrooms and two custom-fitted dressing rooms plus a separate guesthouse that, like the main house, has head-on views that sweep over a good portion of the eastern end of the San Fernando Valley.

An intimately scaled foyer with striking black and white pick-up-sticks patterned marble floor immediately sets the mood for the house and steps down to a formal living room with vaulted ceiling, fireplace and, of particular decorative note, a spirited hot pink sofa. The fireplace in the living room, faced with book matched black marble, is shared by the neighboring dining room and the kitchen, certainly impressive and expensively equipped with massive skylight, white marble floors and top-quality everything, is a rather dizzying affair with horizontal black and white striped walls. The black and white stripe motif continues into the adjoining breakfast where a satellite chandelier hangs over a black leather banquette while the adjoining family room is furnished with a couple of hot pink bucket chairs and a pair of sensuously serpentine white leather sofas. Other celeb-worthy creature comforts include executive and house manager offices, a state-of-the-art screening room, and a professional gym lined with floor-to-ceiling windows on two walls.

Many rooms in the main house open to extensive outdoor lounging and recreation areas that incorporate a vast loggia/outdoor living and dining room with fireplace, infinity edge swimming pool, flat expanse of lawn, an outdoor kitchen/grilling station, a lighted tennis court — Mister Rossdale is an avid fan and a skilled player, a children’s playground and a chicken coop.

Although we’ve repeatedly heard over the last year she’s been out looking at much less modern mansions, we don’t know if Miz Stefani, who quickly coupled with country music star Blake Shelton, has purchased a new home. However, earlier this year always impeccably informed celebrity real estate informant Lucy Spillerguts snitched that Mister Rossdale covertly shelled out $7.6 million for a six-bedroom ultra-contemporary bachelor pad in the hills above Studio City.
