In four days, Pokémon players from more than 35 countries will descend on San Francisco for the Pokémon World Championships and compete for their share of more than $500,000.
Players who qualified throughout the 2016 Championship Series season will battle it out over a three-day period, from Aug. 19 to Aug. 21, in the hopes of being crowned the next Pokémon TCG, Video Game, or “Pokkén Tournament” world champion.
The 2016 Pokémon World Championships will be streamed online at Pokemon.com/Live across four different channels, featuring experts who will provide coverage and analysis during the events.
