King (pictured above left) and Pullano (above right) will report to Jason Dimberg, senior VP of programming and editor-in-chief of Machinima, a former Yahoo exec who joined the company earlier this year. King and Pullano will be responsible for developing content for Machinima’s multiplatform programming service and coordinating programming with Machinima’s marketing, production and talent teams.
King hails from Disney/ABC Cable Networks Group, where he spent more than a year as manager of alternative programming and new media content. While at Disney, he was responsible for the day-to-day management of several unscripted shows, scripted short-form programming and events and specials in development for both Disney Channel and Disney XD. Prior to Disney, he spent over two years at the YOMYOMF Network, Justin Lin’s digital production company. He also was a creative executive at Verso Entertainment and began his career as an executive assistant at New Line Cinema.
Pullano joins the staff of Machinima after he spent the past year as a consulting showrunner and executive producer for the company, writing, developing and producing scripted content for YouTube, Verizon’s Go90, Facebook, Sony PlayStation Vue and cable. Machinima shows he has worked on include “The Bacca Chronicles,” starring gaming influencer JeromeASF, and the upcoming “Happy Wheels” series, based on the massive online game and featuring digital stars including Captain Sparklez and Brizzy Voices.
Prior to Machinima, Pullano spent the two years as a senior creative executive at Zodiak Media, developing and selling projects for TV. Previously, he worked as an EP, writer, and director at NBCUniversal’s E!, overseeing several series and comedy specials. Additionally, he was a senior producer on series produced by Renegade 83 and 51 Minds and was a head writer on sketch shows for Nickelodeon and MTV. He also co-created award-winning short film “The Immigrant.”
